Well, here I was waiting for some major, life-altering event to occur so I could post about it in my journal, but I got impatient. Also, I had a bitchy day and I just want to rant about it to someone (or no-one, as the case may be).
So anyway, I rock up to uni (UWA) again today (after wasting a trip on Monday because they didn't tell me that law classes weren't running in the first week) only to find out that I've been enrolled in the wrong Japanese and German units. Which totally effed me up, because I had to redo my timetable again and I have limited patience for that sort of thing. And I foresee an exceptionally long morning waiting in line at Student Admin. to correct the mistake. Not my mistake either, might I add.
And yeah, after that waste of time I tootled off to Curtin for my Korean tut. Which was fine, except for the parking ... abso-bloody-lutely impossible today! It took me about 20 mins to get there and another 20 just to find a parking spot. And then, it took me 50 mins to get home again (it normally takes 15 mins to get home from uni). So I went to visit my Viennese baker and he gave me free cake to cheer me up. Which was the only good thing that happened today, let me tell you.
Also, I appear to have been friended by those odd snape/sirius/remus/lucius journals that have been doing the rounds. Which is kind of funny, because I suspect that it's a new BNF-witch hunt thingy, and I could not be further from a BNF. I'm kind of the anti-BNF I guess. Never mind, it will no doubt be amusing to see how it plays out.
And now I'm off to soak my feet before The Bill starts, because I wore ouchy shoes today .... |
